Moving Hands Theatre

Read Moving Hands' festival outdoor shows for 2004::

Little Red Riding Hood loves her granny's stories, especially the one about the Big Bad Wolf. Granny is wise, clever, very funny and has lots of smart and hilarious ways to deal with bullies like the Big Bad Wolf

Using dynamic visual imagery including puppetry, projection and storytelling we create a beautiful piece of theatre suitable for the under sevens and the elderly. We use the story to focus on the relationship between Red Riding and her granny , challenging the perceived notions of the older generation. The wolf is re-drawn as the playground bully, tackling issues around bullying in schools

We encourage schools to invite older members from the community to the performance. The show can be followed up by a workshop , where older people will be encouraged to work alongside children using storytelling and shadow puppetry to tell their own stories

Length of performance 50 mins
The show is Funded by Awards for All and The Evesham Trust
Ages under 7's and elderly

Workshops last 2 hours. A workshop pack is available with this show
