| A magical mixture of Hans Christian Anderson´s The Ugly Duckling and an African parable retold in the book Fly Eagle fly by Bishop Christopher Gregorowski. High on a stormy mountain top in Africa, an eagle chick is blown out of his nest. Rescued by a stranger he is taken back to a village where he grows up among the chickens, thinking he is one of them. Until one day... he realises he is different and sets off to find his true home. On his travels, he gets lost and meets the ugly duckling, who is sad because the other ducklings make fun of him. Live actors and a dancer all the way from Cape Town in South Africa come together with puppets and projections to make this a spectacular visual feast for children aged 4+ and their families. |

Every night Kate insists on hearing the same story, The Three Little Pigs. Katie loves pigs. Eventually her mother chooses a new story, The Gingerbread Man. Not pleased, Katie secretly starts snipping and cutting and mixing the two tales...

The oven door opens and out jumps a Gingerbread Pig! And so begins her journey into a dreamlike world. Puppetry, storytelling, original music, masks and projections fill the theatre with colour and larger than life characters for an unforgettable visual treat. |
